First Alert 48 Hour Forecast

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY through Saturday for the Butte, Deer Lodge and Seeley Lake areas. Snow showers will add up 1 to 2 inches.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for most passes across western Montana and the West Yellowstone area for Saturday. 3 to 13 inches of snow are possible in these areas.

Snow showers will develop after sunset on Saturday and last through the night south of Missoula into Southwest Montana. There will be partial clearing around the region Sunday morning with showers returning with another wave of moisture Sunday afternoon and lasting into Monday morning with periods of snow. Snow amounts in the valleys will be from 1 to 2 inches. Highs will reach the 30s on Sunday.

Another very moist system arrives Monday night and lasts into early Wednesday. Widespread snow is possible on Tuesday with highs in the upper 30s for the first couple days of the week and lows in the 20s and upper teens.

Wednesday will see a slight chance of a rain snow mix with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Thanksgiving will likely be colder than the previous days, especially in Kalispell. However, not much else is certain at this time.
