Winter-like weather will continue across parts of western Montana.
Surges of Pacific moisture will interact with cold air and bring snow to the northern Rockies. The best chance will be west of the divide Thursday night and area wide on Friday.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for all passes west of the divide, including Lolo, Lost Trail and Lookout Passes. Snowfall of 1 to 4 inches at the passes. Snow is also likely in the valleys west of the divide, with a trace to 1 or 2 inches Friday morning.
Temperatures will continue to be well below normal. Lows in the mid 20s to lower 30s with highs in the upper 30s and 40s Friday.
Milder this weekend and next week as drier air moves into the region. Becoming partly cloudy with highs in the 40s Saturday and the upper 40s and 50s Sunday. Highs in the 50s through the middle of next week.
Another storm system will then bring cooler air to the region and rain and snow next Thursday.
