Near record highs are in the forecast for the next few days. Ample sunshine will warm temperatures into the 80s to lower 90s today and Thursday. A moist southwest flow will bring a slight threat of a thunderstorm across southwest Montana late this afternoon. The threat will start increasing west of the divide by Thursday night and Friday. Some storms will be strong, bringing the threat of strong winds, lightning, small hail and locally heavy rain.
Highs will drop to the 50s and 60s by the weekend with a few showers. Snow levels will lower to around 5500 feet.
