Scattered rain, snow and graupel showers can be expected today. Highs will be in the 40s in Butte and Bozeman to the 50s in Missoula and Kalispell. Snow levels will be around 6000 feet, which means a little light snow will be possible at pass level.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is posted for the Little Belt mountains north of Bozeman, including Kings Hill Pass. Snowfall of 1 to 3 inches in the lower elevations and 4 to 8 inches in the higher elevations.
All other passes may see some snow, but only wet to slushy roadways are expected.
After a soggy couple of days we get a well deserved break from the rain. Saturday will be perfect with plenty of sunshine and highs warming into the upper 50s to mid 60s.
The unsettled weather returns Sunday, lasting each day next week with showers and cooler than normal temperatures.
