WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will remain posted until 8AM this morning for Lookout Pass, Lost Trail Pass, Lolo Pass and Marias Pass for up to 4 inches of snow. Valley locations will not see as much snow, but it only takes a dusting to create slick roads.
Drier air will move in for much of your Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 30s and low 40s. Patchy fog will be possible tonight. Lows will drop to the teens and 20s, which means freezing fog and frost may be a problem Thursday morning.
Our next weather marker arrives Thursday night. There is a slight chance of snow Thursday night and into Friday, but this system is relatively weak and widespread impacts are not expected. Lookout, Lolo, and Marias Passes may see a light accumulation of snow.
We are tracking yet another system that will affect the area Saturday and Sunday. Significant snow is possible in the higher elevations this weekend, but it looks like valley locations will continue to deal with a wintry mix. Valleys could see all snow flurries by Sunday night, but little to no accumulation is expected at this point in time.
