A moist southwest flow will keep the clouds rolling through western Montana and we can expect periodic showers this week.
The vernal equinox, better known as spring, arrived at 4:28 this morning, mountain daylight time!
A warm front will lift north through the region tonight. Valley rain and mountain snow showers will be along and south of I-90 through Monday evening, eventually moving north and weakening overnight. Lows in the upper 20s in Kalispell to the lower 30s in Missoula, Butte and Bozeman.
Lolo, Lost Trail, MacDonald and Homestake Passes may receive one to three inches of wet snow.
There will be a break in the showers most of Tuesday. However, by evening and overnight we can expect more rain and snow showers. And, there will be a break most of Wednesday before yet more showers move through the region Wednesday night.
Highs the rest of the week will be in the 40s in Kalispell to the 50s elsewhere.
