Weather News

Snow showers are expected through Wednesday

An unsettled northwest flow has developed across western Montana, bringing the threat of some snow.  Snowfall will remain light.  However, some places will receive a trace to two inches with up to four inches in the mountains.  This will be through Wednesday.   Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy and continued cold.

Lows Monday night in the single digits and lower 10s with highs on Tuesday in the 20s.  More of the same Wednesday.

High pressure will build into the region late Wednesday through the weekend.  That means valley inversions will strengthen west of he divide, so there will be a chance of freezing fog.  That also means colder temperatures in the valleys, with highs dropping to the upper 10s to lower 20s and lows in the single digits above and below zero.
