Weather News

Snow, icy roads impact Thursday travel

FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY until 11 am from the Seeley Lake and Swan Lake areas north to Glacier Park.  This includes Highway 83.  Very light freezing rain will cause treacherous travel.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until 11 am for the Flathead and Mission Valleys west to the Idaho border for areas of freezing rain and snow. Accumulations will be just enough to create slick roads. This advisory also includes Lookout Pass where as much as 4 inches of snow will be possible.

Much of the region will sit under partly to mostly cloudy skies today. Daytime highs will be in the 30s and 40s. A few flurries and snow showers will be possible today.

Accumulating snow is possible tonight across southwest Montana around the Bozeman area.  1 to 2 inches of snow will be possible with just a few flurries and snow showers elsewhere.  A cold front will usher cooler air into the region.  Highs will drop back to the lower 30s on Friday and the 20s to around 30s over the weekend.

Temperatures will be rather cold next week with highs in the 20s and a chance of some snow.
