Bobcat's receiver Tanner Bleskin has long been regarded as one of the most intelligent players to ever suit up for Montana State. He is also one of the greatest receivers in school history, breaking a few receiving records in his final season. Today, his academic resume got a little bigger.

Bleskin was named a Capital One First team Academic All-American this afternoon. Bleskin is the first Bobcat since Travis Lulay in 2005 to receive First Team All America honors.

Last season Bleskin was named a Capital One Second team Academic All-American and is now Montana State's first two time Academic selection since Jon Montoya in 2003.

On the field, Bleskin set the Montana State records for receiving yards with 2,816 and receptions with 194 in his final season.
