Lady Griz senior forward Jordan Sullivan has earned the title of Big Sky Conference Player of the week for the first time in her career after leading Montana to a pair of conference home wins last week.

Sullivan averaged a double-double of 15.5 points and 10 rebounds per game in victories over Idaho State and Weber State.

The Sidney, Montana native scored 17 points along with nine rebounds in Thursday’s victory over the Bengals.  Sullivan added 14 points and 11 rebounds in Saturday’s win over Weber State.

Over the course of the week Sullivan shot 56.3 percent and connected on five of six shots from beyond the arc. Sullivan is now 15 for 20 on three point shots in Montana’s last seven games and her shooting percentage of .640 from beyond the arc is the best in the conference.

Sullivan says that wins are always most important but admitted she was honored to hear the news on Monday from a former teammate.

"Kenzie DeBoer actually tweeted at me and said congrats so that's how I found out,” said Sullivan. “But our conference is full of really, really good players.  I think this award could have gone to a number of people.  I've honestly been thinking about this as a goal since freshman year so it's cool.  But a win is a win and who cares about the individual success if you don't get a win."

Sullivan also hasn’t missed a single game in her Lady Griz career and is on pace to play the most contests wearing a Lady Griz uniform in program history.
