MISSOULA, Mont. - Just as their females counterparts did a day before, the MSU Men's Basketball squad also lost their opening round game in the Big Sky Conference Tournament.
Heading into halftime with a two point lead at 30-28, the Bobcats gave up 41 points in the second half and only scored 26 to end their season in a 69-56 loss.
Foul trouble caused both Flavien Davis and Antonio Biglow to play limited minutes, just 23 and 22 respectively.
Though MSU caused 16 turnovers in the game, they had zero blocks compared to Northern Colorado's seven, and were blown out in the rebounding differential 33 to just 19.
MSU's shooting was a tale of two halves, they converted on 45.8% of their shots in the first and just 34.%5 in the second.
Senior Christian Moon ended his Bobcat career scoring 15 points, grabbing three rebounds and stealing the ball three times.
Northern Colorado will face number one seed Montana at 8 p.m. Friday night.
