Montana State's Jared Burnham named men's tennis Coach of the Year

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Montana State's Jared Burnham has been named the Big Sky Conference men's tennis Coach of the Year.

In Burnham's first season, he led the Bobcats to a 13-8 overall record and a 9-1 conference record to tie for first in the Big Sky standings.  

Montana State earned the no. 2 seed in the 2013 Big Sky Championship before their season ended in the semifinals after losing to no. 3 Montana.

Burnham's honor marked the fifth time in league history an MSU coach has received the award, all of which occurred in the last 12 years. Burnham is also Montana State's first men's coach to win the award since 2006.
