MISSOULA, Mont. - On Thursday a Missoula standout golfer was recognized for taking advantage of the early signing period to make her college commitment official.
Loyola Sacred Heart senior Kylie Esh signed her National Letter of Intent to compete in the Big Sky Conference as a member of the Montana Grizzly golf team.
"It's relieving as a lot of my friends are still trying to figure out where they are going to college and it's kind of nice for me to know already," said Esh. "It's nice to know that all my hard work has finally paid off. I just love Missoula. Ever since I moved here last year I've just loved being here. Thank you to everyone who has supported me. I'm very blessed for this opportunity to play and I'm excited to see where it takes me."
After transferring from Lewiston, Idaho to Missoula for her junior year of high school, Esh won the 2017 class B state title last spring. She did so while recording a score of 146, which was 13 strokes better than second place.
