Lady Broncs basketball has high expectations

MISSOULA, Mont. - The Frenchtown girls team is coming off a great season from last year, the Lady Broncs lost only two regular season games all year and won the Northwest Conference. However, once at state, Frenchtown dropped both of their first two games, they're hoping to last longer in the playoffs this year.

It won't be easy, they graduated three very valuable seniors who accounted for numerous all-conference selections in their career. The team says their strength this year is that they will have more team speed and depth, that combined with team chemistry gives them high expectations to win the conference  again this season.

"I feel like all of us  want to win for each other and as a team and not just single each other out and be like i want to win for myself we want to win as a team and i think that will help us in the long run," said senior post Larissa Berg.

"Our goals are to be playing Saturday nights you knowing divisional and state tournaments.  That's our goal so I guess you could say our expectations are fairly high but we've been working pretty hard and were coming off a good year so I think that they're attainable," said head coach Jim Tolman.

The Lady Broncs also start their season Friday, Dec. 7.
