A few years ago Runner's Magazine named the Missoula Marathon the top marathon in the country. Friday we talked to asked a runner who has finished the marathon three times to find out what makes it so special.

Missoula hosted one of the top marathons in the nation Sunday morning, and as usual it was dominated by our very own local western Montana runners.

The Missoula Marathon is Sunday July 8th at 6 a.m.The full marathon will start on Mullan Road, Frenchtown, the half marathon will start on Alpine Pt St, Blue Mountain Road, Missoula.
