The University of Montana men's basketball team has found Wayne Tinkle's replacement.

California assistant Travis Decuire has been named the new head coach of the Montana men's basketball team, the University announced today

Decuire is no stranger to Montana. Decuire played guard for the Griz from 1991 to 1994, earning All-Big sky honors his junior and senior years. Decuire also set the school's all time assist record with 435 and the single season assist record with 199 in the 1993-94 season.

Decuire has spent the last six season as an assistant coach at California.
