Former NBA player interviewed for Bobcat's assistant coaching position

Former NBA player Erick Strickland interviewed for the MSU men's assistant basketball coaching position and he tweeted today saying, "Just finished interview @montanastate, I felt it was great experience and beautiful place to be thnx @coachhuse #BigSkyCountry #EasyLiving."

Strickland played 9 seasons in the NBA for several teams, including the Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. Strickland averaged 7.5  points per game in his NBA career.

After losing two assistant coaches in early June, MSU men's coach Brad Huse has been searching for candidates to fill the positions. We'll keep you updated on the job hunt as we learn more.
