MISSOULA, Mont. -

The Montana State Bobcats improved to 3-0 in Big Sky Conference play after beating Weber State 34-16 Saturday on the road.

The Bobcats took a little while to get their offense going, but once they did they were hard to stop. MSU had 479 yards of total offense with 313 passing through the air and 166 yards on the ground. Bobcat quarterback DeNarius McGhee played an efficient game completing 20 of 29 passes for 313 yards to go along with 3 touchdowns.

MSU running back Cody Kirk carried the load on the ground, Kirk rushed the ball 17 times for 95 yards to go along with one touchdown.

The Bobcat defense gave up almost 500 yards of total offense, but they were able to force three turnovers in the contest. Montana State's did only allow 16 total points to the Wildcats including just 6 second half points.

Montana State will be back in action Saturday Oct. 26 when they host conference member UC Davis.
