UC Davis scored 10 unanswered points in the second quarter, but MSU still held the lead, 14-0, at halftime.

Davis is currently 3-1 in the Big Sky with their lone conference loss coming from the Griz two weeks ago.

It was a memorable match-up last season as the Bobcats headed into the locker room at the half with a 31-14 lead. The Aggies then stormed back in the second half to take the lead before MSU made a run in the fourth quarter to retake the lead and pull out a 48-41 win.

The biggest key for the Bobcats will be stopping the run. The Aggies have won 3 of their last 4 games with an offense led by quarterback Randy Wright and running-back Gabe Manzanares, who's averaging 101.6 yards a game.

"They're 3-1 in the conference right now so they're nipping right at our heels with a chance to catch us in the loss column," said MSU head coach Rob Ash. "They got their quarterback situation resolved and started to get the system better understood with their new coaching staff. They've just gotten better every week and now they've won 3 of their last 4 and put themselves in a position to be a factor in the Big Sky this year."
