The accolades just keep on coming for the MSU Bobcat football team. The award today however was for a players work off the football field.

Senior wide receiver Tanner Bleskin has been named a finalist for the National Football Foundation Scholar awards. By earning entry to the list he is now a semi-finalist for the Campbell Trophy, which is given to college football's top scholar-athlete. The award recognizes "academic success, football performance and exemplary community leadership."

The team has noted throughout the season just how smart Tanner is on and off the field and has been recognized for his academic achievements throughout his tenure at MSU.

Bleskin majors in micro-biology and has been selected three times as a Big Sky All- Academic. Last season Bleskin was named a CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-American and this year on the field set the MSU career receiving yards record with 2,415.
