Towson 44, Albany 17: Terrance West rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns to lift the visiting Tigers.Peter Athens overcame a pair of interceptions by throwing for 294 yards and a score and Donnell Lewis returned an interception for a touchdown as Towson (7-1, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association), ranked No. 7 in the FCS Coaches Poll, rebounded from its first loss of the season.The Tigers committed turnovers on their first two possessions before running off 24 unanswered points en route to a 24-10 halftime lead. They scored twice in under 2 1/2 minutes early in the second quarter when Athens connected with Spencer Wilkins on a 38-yard strike and Lewis brought back an interception 38 yards for a touchdown. West broke off a 59-yard touchdown run with 6:42 left in the first half and scored from 7 yards out on Towson's opening possession of the third quarter before Darius Victor added a 7-yard TD run to push the lead to 38-10. The two touchdowns boosted West's FCS-leading total to 19.Will Fiacchi finished 17-of-35 for 126 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Great Danes (1-7, 0-4), who tumbled to their sixth straight defeat. Jake Meek rushed for 44 yards and the game's opening touchdown when he took a direct snap and scored on a 10-yard run.
