On Saturday the Big Sky boys basketball team had senior day as they finished up their regular season hosting the Helena Bengals.
Our big play actually comes from the junior varsity game; In the final minute of play senior manager Dustin Tulberg, who lives with cerebral palsy, came in to play his only minutes of the year.
With the Big Sky junior varsity squad down by several buckets, it was up to Tulberg to try and hit one final shot to end the game on a high note for the Eagles.
He missed the first few but his teammates made sure he would break into the score column; On the 4th shot Tulberg hits the bucket just before the buzzer.
Tulberg was ecstatic, as was the entire gym at Big Sky high school. Tulberg received several embraces from both the JV team as well as the varsity team. In fact the varsity team used the inspirational finish to pull off a 1-point win over Helena in the game that immediately followed.
