Maulers Get Ready For Hockey Season
POSTED: 9:44 pm MDT September 8, 2010UPDATED: 11:58 pm MDT September 8, 2010In the past few years, Western Montana has become more and more involved with this hard hitting sport, and the Missoula Maulers are one of the most successful junior hockey programs in the state.The Mauler are coming off of a good 2009 season, they finished towards the top of the NORPAC standings, with 33 wins and 15 losses.This year things are a little different on a personel level, Last year's head coach Trevor Stewart moved on, and his former Assistant Marcus Baxter takes over the team.The Maulers will play in an exhibition game this Saturday at home against Bozeman and everyone is just excited to get back on the ice.The puck for this game drops Saturday the 11th at 4pm.
