No Love Lost Between Eagles, Spartans
POSTED: 8:17 pm MDT September 2, 2010UPDATED: 8:22 pm MDT September 2, 2010On Friday night, Missoula will get its first crosstown rivalry game of the high school football season, and it's that game that has become the marquee matchup in the Garden City - Sentinel versus Big Sky.Last year, the Eagles came back from a 21-point halftime deficit to shock the Spartans. These guys might be from the same town, but that doesn't mean they have to like each other."I've known them all over there for quite a while, since middle school, and we're pretty good friends. But, all that changes when you're on the field," says Sentinel senior Collin Swenson."The ones I'm friends with, they're alright, they're cool kids. But the other ones, they just think they're the best in the city, and we're going to show them who is," says Big Sky senior Tanner Orr.
