POSTED: 11:17 pm MDT August 31, 2010UPDATED: 11:20 pm MDT August 31, 2010One week before their opening game against Western State, the University of Montana football team didn't know who would lead them out on the field on Saturday. That changed on Tuesday, when the team announced its 2010 captains.Quarterback Andrew Selle, running back Chase Reynolds, and defensive tackle Tyler Hobbs will lead the team this year. All three are seniors.Head Coach Robin Pflugrad says the choices were made by the team, who voted for the trio.“These three gentlemen, we are very proud of, [both] on and off the football field,” says Pflugrad.“It's a great feeling knowing that [the team] looks up to you as a leader, and that they trust you as a leader,” says Selle.“I want to be remembered as a guy who came out and didn't say much, but made a lot of difference,” says Reynolds.“I didn't think I'd be in this position three or four years ago, and I'm honored that my teammates have the confidence in me to help me to help lead this team,” says Hobbs.
