Montana Grizzly football fans received some exciting news on Friday after the University of Montana announced the official start times for all 12 of Montana's football games. This year all 12 of the Grizzlies' games will be televised by either Max Media or ROOT Sports.
The schedule is highlighted by an exciting season opener at home in Missoula on August 31st. That's when the Grizzlies will host Appalachian State under the lights at Washington-Grizzly stadium with kickoff slated for 7:00 PM.
"It's always exciting, last time it was a night game here was the Northern Iowa game," said senior linebacker and team captain Brock Coyle. "This place is a great stadium anyway and when you get some lights going it's going to be a lot of fun."
Last season the Grizzlies played at Appalachian state and lost a close game by a final of 35-27. The team is hoping to get revenge at home in the Garden City this year.
"We can't wait to get the season started," said Coyle. "We have a lot of respect for Appalachian State. We got the opportunity to go down there and play them at their place and we are really looking forward to that game. They are going to be a challenge and we cant wait to play them."
