A strong cold front will bring strong winds to Montana late Thursday along with rain and snow.
In advance of the front, mild and breezy Wednesday night and early Thursday. A chance of rain, mainly across northwest Montana around Kalispell. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.
Very mild Thanksgiving Day. A HIGH WIND WATCH in the afternoon and overnight. West southwest winds 15 to 35 mph, with a period of gusts up to 50 mph as a cold front moves across the region late Thursday afternoon and night.
Rain will mix with and change to snow Thursday night before ending early Friday morning. Travel may slow on Friday morning.
Cooler behind the front, although temperatures will remain above normal for late November. Partly cloudy with highs in the 40s.
