Jazmine Beehler, 22, was sentenced to 5 years in the Montana Department of Corrections for two felony charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. Beehler will also go through dependency screenings.
This stems from a drug sting that resulted in the shooting of an undercover officer in front of Gold's Gym last November.
Prosecutors say Beehler sold methamphetamine to an undercover police officer and then planned to meet the officer for another sale.
Judge Karen Townsend said in order go through treatments for dependency issues the person has to show motivation. Townsend said Beehler didn't show initiative or desire to get help.
Rachelle Kolden, 31, was also involved in the drug sting and was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. Prosecutors say Kolden also sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer.
Kolden was supposed to appear in court Tuesday, but her lawyer was unavailable. Her hearing with be scheduled for later this month.
