The Flathead is dealing with some fallout after a high school tech levy failed, and the elementary school levy passed.
School Superintendent Darlene Schottle told us the district has some tough choices to make.
In addition to upgrading computers, the two levies were meant to work together to improve bandwidth in the district.
Schottle maintains high school students need what the levy would have paid for.
"Even without the levy we can't just not do it. We have to be able to do it, and in order to be able to do that that means some modifications to the budget; it means some other options, or are there other ways that we can raise revenue to try to make that happen? So that's going to be a challenge at the high school level," said Schottle.
Schottle told us that the district will have to start to decide what to pay for, and how to do it at a finance meeting on Friday morning.
