A cold front will bring widespread showers, isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds to the region today. Most locations will see light rain, but snow levels will drop and accumulating snow is possible on mountain passes.
The unsettled weather will continue Saturday. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected Saturday with only lingering showers Sunday.
Outside of the showers, look for mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures Friday and Saturday are expected to be well below normal for this time of year. Daytime highs will be in the 40s and 50s, overnight lows in the mid to low 30s.
Warmer next week with a slight chance of showers each day. Partly cloudy with highs warming to the 60s to lower 70s by the middle of the week.
