Victim’s daughter speaks out following fatal crash

The 18-year-old daughter of Roberta Demmert -- a woman prosecutors say died after being hit after an alleged drunk driver -- spoke with NBC Montana about her mom, and her reaction to the incident.  Eleni Adams tells NBC Montana she’ll remember her mom as a woman who loved her family.

“She was a loving person…fun to be around, and she was actually pretty funny,” said Adams.

Adams says Roberta loved to take photos of her family, and was a great cook. Her favorite dish -- tacos.

Adams also gave her reaction to allegations that the man who prosecutors say ran into her mom was drunk.

“I have no respect for drunk drivers…If you drink and drive you put everyone else in danger,“ said Adams.

Roberta’s family tells NBC Montana that she graduated from a school for deaf students in Great Falls back in the '90s, and had lived in Missoula for roughly 15 years.

Roberta’s family tell us her sister, who was also hit, has a neck brace on and is still hospitalized.
