We were there in downtown Missoula Wednesday night, as the United Way of Missoula County kicked off its new campaign season at the Garlington Lohn & Robinson building.

Whitney Maphis from HUB Insurance and John Hoerner, the Vice President of First Interstate Bank are the co-chairs this year.

This year's theme is "We are going to rock it to get 1.1 million dollars."

Mayor John Engen and dozens of other community members gathered to announce that the United Way is focusing efforts on areas of education, income and health.

The United Way supports 39 programs at 22 partner agencies in Missoula and Ravalli Counties and has been serving the area for more than 80 years.
