Here is this weekend's snow report we received today from Whitefish Mt. Resort.
Big Dave* says:
6:00am- The weekend has arrived and so has the sunshine. I can't see a cloud in the sky right now and temperatures are in the mid 20's up here. It is going to be a mild day today so dress accordingly, bring some dermatone, don't forget your sunglasses, and be sure the memory card on your camera is empty. The views of Glacier National Park will be amazing today.
The groomers have been the place to be these last few days, especially first thing in the morning. The Winch Cat was busy last night giving us plenty of steep corduroy to carve up this morning. Ptarmigan Bowl, Heep Steep, Powder Trap, No Name, and Gelande should keep you busy for a while. Chair 2 and Chair 4 will be spinning at 9:00am for you early birds that have been waiting to make turns all week long. P.S. Middle Mully's was groomed for the first time this year.
Off groomed conditions will need a little time this morning to soften up with the sun. If you can't wait then hit North Facing terrain (New runs off of T-Bar 2) for the best conditions. The skiing was soft in the afternoon yesterday and I expect the same for today. After a great day of skiing hit up some great Apres spots like the Bierstube deck, Hellroaring Saloon's deck, or the patio at The Base Lodge. Billy Angel will be playing in Ed & Mully's from 4pm to 7pm tonight so as you can see you should plan on spending the whole day with us.
Work on your tan lines in the sunshine today. Big Dave
