The Missoula County sheriff's office is investigating a break-in at a residence east of Missoula in which the burglar got away with more than $6,000 worth of silver, a coin collection and a .22-caliber pistol.
    
The burglary occurred Wednesday between noon and 6 p.m. at a residence in Turah, which is about eight miles east of Missoula.
    
The thief or thieves got away with 315 ounces of silver, including two 100-ounce bars and a coin collection that included Indian head pennies and buffalo nickels.
    
The sheriff's office has no suspects.
