Missoula, Butte and Bozeman can expect showers to arrive for the afternoon with rain moving into the Flathead Valley by the evening commute.
Widespread rain and high elevation snow is expected tonight. Many areas may receive a quarter to a half inch of rain, with mountain passes stacking up 2 to 6 inches of snow by Saturday morning.
Showers again on Saturday, gradually ending by Sunday. Temperatures remain cool this weekend with highs in the 50s.
We are still expecting a drier and warmer weather pattern by the middle of next week when highs will warm into the 60s to around 70.
