MISSOULA, Mont. - Kirsten Pabst has been elected Missoula county attorney.
Pabst won the race with about 58 percent of the votes, coming out ahead of Josh Van de Wetering. Both ran as Democrats.
Because there were no Republican challengers, the race for county attorney was decided in the primary.
"People who really want to see positive changes in the county attorney's office. We're really excited to push up our sleeves and get going and get to work," said Pabst.
Pabst worked as Chief Deputy for the Missoula County Attorney's Office before starting her own practice in 2012.
