BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Sunday morning multiple agencies responded to a single vehicle rollover in Hyalite Canyon. According to the Gallatin County Sheriffs Office they received the report just before 7a.m. in the Moser Creek Road area. The initial report indicated that the driver had walked away from the scene of the crash.

Search and rescue located a vehicle and an injured passenger, a male in his early 20's. He was airlifted from the scene with what appeared to be internal injuries.

When officials began to look for the missing driver, they discovered false information was given by two individuals. Those individuals were cited for giving false information to authorities.

As of now alcohol appears to be a factor in this incident. The Montana Highway Patrol is continuing their investigation.
