BUTTE, Mont. -

A national website that aims to rank colleges based on how much graduates are able to earn when compared with non-graduates over a 30-year span has released its list of the top colleges in Montana.

Montana Tech, based in Butte, came in first. AffordableCollegesOnline.org recognized Montana Tech as the top school in the state when it comes to the “lifetime return on investment.” 

“Our graduates enjoy outstanding careers all around the world after graduating from Montana Tech. This list proves that a degree from Montana Tech is a great investment,” said school Chancellor Don Blackketter, in a press release.

Montana State University came in second, Carroll College came in third, MSU-Billings came in fourth and the University of Montana came in fifth on the list.
