The Montana Millionaire gives purchasers their best chance at becoming a millionaire in Montana.
The tickets are still on sale but the drawing is just around the corner.
The Montana Lottery sells 130,000 tickets and one of those will will be a winner after tickets stop selling on midnight of the 31st.
Many people are buying tickets as gifts.
"People are buying them and then giving them away and holding one," said Mark Thomsen of Worden's Market Deli in downtown Missoula. "It's a real good way to go ahead and say thank you, Merry Christmas. But, it's also a great way to go ahead and say I'm going to try and make myself a millionaire."
As of Monday, afternoon about 18,000 tickets were left. They are $20 a piece.
