BILLINGS, Mont. -

Health care officials in Montana say a woman posing as a nurse at a Billings hospital accompanied doctors on patient checks.

Yellowstone County's public-health agency says the Billings Clinic notified the agency Thursday of the impostor. The hospital also contacted police.

A notice was sent out to health care workers at the city's other hospital, St. Vincent Healthcare, to be on the lookout for the impostor who dressed in scrubs or a lab coat.

Curtis Harper with St. Vincent says the woman accompanied physicians on patient checks at Billings Clinic several times.

Billings police Chief Rich St. John says no arrest has been made.

The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/18cBGiw ) hospital officials named the woman, but St. John declined to confirm her identity.
