MISSOULA, Mont. -

Should zombies attack, be glad you’re living in Montana. At least, that’s the message from the website Estately.com, which ranks our state as the sixth most prepared for a zombie apocalypse.

The website, focused on national real estate listings, ranked each state on how prepared it is for a potential zombie apocalypse. The criteria involved such categories as amount of active military personnel and how many people owned guns in each state. Montana ranks high in both of those categories per capita.

The five states rated more prepared to survive a zombie apocalypse include Alaska, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, and New Mexico. According to Estately.com, New Jersey is least likely to survive such an event.
