MISSOULA, Mont. -

Customers had been waiting in line since 5:30 a.m. when Missoula's new Goodwill store opened its doors at 8.

Traffic was bottle necked and shoppers took advantage of every inch of expanded parking at the new location.

Abby Brown and two of her five kids came from Great Falls.

Abby filled a grocery cart with clothes and essentials for her children.

Goodwill's new store is in the old Armory near South and Reserve.

"The nice thing is all this merchandise is fresh," said Goodwill's Chelle Feist. "We've been collecting for the last three weeks. We've collected over 125,000 pounds in three weeks to fill this store.

The Missoula store served 500 customers in its first 20 minutes of opening.
