Missoula's YWCA thrift store on West Broadway is about to double in size.
Construction crews are adding 5,800 square feet onto Secret Seconds.
The YWCA said demand for space stems from more shoppers and more donations.
Missoula's two thift stores, said communication manager Elizabeth Harrison, support a third of YWCA's local budget.
The addition costs $650,000. The nonprofit has already raised about $430,000 to pay costs.
"The reason we're doing this expansion," said Harrison, "is because we know that when we put money and time and resources into our thrift stores we get it back, and that money goes directly to our programs to help families."
The addition is expected to be finished in August.
In that time, it's employing between 30 and 50 workers.
