A Missoula woman born and raised in Moore, OK is gathered donations for tornado victims.
Laura Branson and her family collected donations Wednesday for those impacted by Monday's tornado.
Branson sill has family in the Moore and while they are all safe, she wanted to help the community.
Branson and her family will leave Thursday morning to take a trailer load of supplies. They collected dust masks, work gloves and towels -- all items to help dig through the rubble.
The truck and trailer were also loaded down with baby formula, diapers and pet food.
In addition Branson collected cards and notes of encouragement. Students from Missoula's Chief Charlo, Target Range and Valley Christian schools wrote special letters to the students from Plaza Towers Elementary, a school destroyed in Moore.
Branson said the family should arrive in Oklahoma Friday. They plan to work there until early next week.
