MISSOULA, Mont. -

A liquidation sale is under way at the Vann's store in Missoula as the new owners of the company prepare to close that store and move its headquarters to Bozeman.

CEO Greg Regelbrugge tells the Missoulian (http://bit.ly/10ymBAo ) the store is open Wednesday through Saturday. He says the recent liquidation at the Hamilton store saw the sale of nearly all the display products.

Regelbrugge says inventory that isn't sold by May 30 will be shipped to one of several distribution centers around the country that provide products for sales made through Vanns.com.

Regelbrugge says Vann's Acquisition couldn't reach a lease agreement on the stores in Missoula and Hamilton. Building owner and company founder Pete Vann says the new owners sought a 40 percent reduction in the lease price.
