MISSOULA, Mont. -

Missoula police officers say a 22 year old man is in custody after he led police on a high speed pursuit, and crashed into multiple parked vehicles. Officers say the pursuit began when they tried to pull the man over for speeding in the area of Brooks and Dore. Officers say the man didn’t stop, and began a chase that lasted roughly four minutes and hit speeds more than double the speed limit in some areas.

Officers say the man eventually lost control of his vehicle and struck several parked vehicles in the area of 1000 South Fourth.  Officers tell NBC Montana the man fled on foot, and was located roughly three minutes later. Officers say the man faces multiple charges including four counts of felony criminal endangerment, aggravated dui, and eluding or fleeing from a police officer. No injuries were reported.

Missoula resident Angela Mallon told NBC Montana that officers woke her up and notified her that her vehicle was one of the ones struck. She stepped outside and saw significant damage to her vehicle.

“I’m really glad nobody was hurt. It was 2:00 a.m…lots of people walking home from the bar at that time,” said Mallon.
