Missoula Democrat announces another House run
Democrat Melinda Gopher of Missoula says she will make another run at the U.S. House.
The writer and Native American activist finished in third place in a Democratic primary for the seat in 2010 after raising little money for the race.
Democrat John Lewis of Helena has already put together a campaign for the seat. He is a former top aide to U.S. Sen. Max Baucus.
Gopher told Lee Newspapers of Montana that she dislikes the federal health care law, and would prefer a government-run single-payer system.
She also said clean energy and climate change legislation will be top priorities.
