MISSOULA, Mont. -

A group of Missoula-area kids and teenagers are taking aim against cyber-bullying with their annual show “To Missoula, With Love.” The name of the dance company is “Curtain Up!  Company.” This year’s theme is “Instant Fame,” and it is meant to address issues that have come about with the spread of social media, and a piece on cyber-bullying is one of the parts of the performance.

“A lot of people don’t actually understand that people can bully through the internet and texting and all that kind of stuff. We just kind of make it apparent and we show people kind of what can happen,” said Student Director Riley Sanders.  

Several of the pieces were choreographed by the students. The dancers’ age range 8 – 17. The show will also have pieces choreographed by On Center Performing Arts Staff, including owner and director Lisa Deer.

The show will be held at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts on 200 N. Adams Street in Missoula on January 31st and February 1st. There will be a 7:00 pm evening performance on January 31st, and there will be a 2:00 pm show and 6:00 pm Gala with another performance at 7:00 pm.
