An 18-year-old Lame Deer man died of injuries suffered after he was hit by a vehicle in Rosebud County over the weekend.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the collision happened at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 212. The victim died at Indian Health Services in Lame Deer. His name hasn't been released.
The Billings Gazette reports the sport utility vehicle suspected of hitting the man was found at about noon on Saturday. It was not clear if the suspected driver, a 42-year-old Lame Deer man, had been arrested.
The investigation is being handled by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI.
