MISSOULA, Mont. -

A man who recently moved from Alaska to Montana has pleaded not guilty to an incest charge that alleges he was having sex with his 19-year-old, mentally disabled daughter.

48-year-old man entered his plea in District Court in Missoula on Wednesday. He remains jailed.

Charging documents say the girl's roommate called authorities after learning the man and his daughter were having sex and planned to get married.

When contacted by investigators, the man denied the accusation.

Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jennifer Clark has said the daughter has mental disabilities and her father was taking advantage of her. The Associated Press generally does not identify victims of sexual abuse and is not naming the father to avoid identifying the daughter.
